In Spring of 2004, we trasfered to Kasama, Sakae-ku、, a southern part of Yokohama. It is next and near to Kamakura, an old capital.
I, Bunji had been a salaried man of a company for more than 30 years, and since then worked for a foundation that supports studies about the Earth's ecology in Tokyo for eight years. In this July, I have retired for the second time. On occasion, I paint, and I play tennis. I am also fond of playing golf.
My wife, Tokiko is a member of Yokohama Tomo no Kai (Women's club Yokohama Division (Yokohama-Women's Club)), and she studies how to efficiently run a household with other members.Our oldest son, Atsushi and his wife live in America (Connecticut), and they run a business that sells Japanese culture related items to customers all over the world via internet. Their company is called Japan Culture Club.
Our second son, Ryoji and his wife live in Yokohama. He works for a company that manufactures electronics. He is in the product development section.
Tokiko and I are seeking international friendship with people who are interested in learning about Japan and Japanese culture. Over the years, we have had many guests from abroad in our house, and we truly enjoy corresponding with people all over the world (It does not matter which country you are from or how old you are). If you have any questions about life in Japan, please e-mail us. We would like to answer them from an average citizen's perspective.
